I’m an undergraduate at IIT Kharagpur, majoring in Electronics and Electrical Communication Engineering. A thinker at heart (oxymoron?), I love to read about everything under the sun, from computer science to history and politics. Fascinated about how the mind forms higher abstractions of various stimuli to interpret complex features - be it the rhythm of a particular song, predicting which note should come next in particular melody (sometimes with incredible accuracy) or interpreting the complex visual forms we see every day, I am currently delving into machine learning and artificial intelligence; to try and recreate these intricate amalgamation of features. As of now, besides machine learning, my interests include computer vision, algorithms, motion planning and business strategies.
I am a music aficionado and a classical pianist by training. Music of almost all types - classical, rock, jazz, pop, folk, progressive, post-rock are filling up my ever growing playlist. I also like drawing (fun fact: there is no noun for ‘someone who sketches’) and watching TV series. Sherlock, Mad Men, FRIENDS and Seinfeld are my favourites. In my free time, I like reading books, both fiction and non-fiction, scrolling through random answers on Quora, and reading people (Harvey Specter anyone?). Everyone has their story, and I am here to write my own.
Feel free to contact me regarding my projects or just to chat on any random topic (didn’t I say ‘everything under the sun’?).
